Sangsters, from Fife in Scotland, are an internationally recognised harmony group of prize-winning Scottish singers comprising Anne Murray (MBE), Fiona Forbes and John Blackwood.

Quality singing, close harmonies with sympathetic guitar accompaniment and interpretation of Scots, traditional and Burns' songs alongside contemporary material, and all wrapped in warm couthy humour, makes for a greatly entertaining show.

The high quality of Sangsters’ live performance and their ability to easily connect with audiences has made them popular performers the length and breadth of Scotland at clubs and festivals. They have also performed in England, Germany and Nova Scotia. Live and recorded national and local radio sessions have featured the band. Sangsters are signed to Greentrax, the premier Scottish recording label.

Concert appearances in venues as diverse as privately owned castles, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, regional and local theatres, small pubs and clubs and Burns Suppers both formal and informal show the band’s versatility.

The trio's involvement in Far Far From Ypres, the Trad awards Event of the Year winner in 2019, as well as The Singing 60’s sell-out gig in Edinburgh's Queen's Hall at the 2019 Edinburgh Festival Fringe were particular highlights for Sangsters (and everyone else).

Older? Yes. Wiser? Probably not!
